How do I set up and use Linen in the hotel app?
Set up your beds and linen once; the app then works out fresh linen, use, stock and orders.
Set-up (managers and supervisors): open Linen, then Beds & linen setup. Tap Fill in a standard UK set to start, or enter your own: the items you stock, your bed sizes, what one bed of each size uses, and the beds in each room type. Pick your order days and tap Save setup. Rooms that differ from their type are set under Room by room.
Every day:
- Fresh linen: what to take to each room before it's cleaned, for Today or Tomorrow. You can Print it.
- Used today: linen used so far, worked out from finished rooms.
- Stocktake: count the clean linen on the shelves and tap Save stocktake.
- Stock & order: what should be on the shelf and a suggested order. Managers and supervisors tap Save order, then Delivery arrived when it comes.
- Rejects: record stained, torn or lost items with Record.
